titleOfInvention Fire-screening glazing and manufacturing process
abstract The invention relates to the manufacture of a fire-resistant glazing consisting of two sheets of glass held at a distance by a sealed peripheral intermediate frame between which an aqueous solution has been introduced comprising a dissolved salt and a gelling agent.n n n After filling, the solution turns into an aqueous gel, the aqueous phase of which contains the salt in solution and the solid phase of which is a polymer. The gelling polymer is a crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol. As a crosslinker, a dialdehyde is used.
