The present invention relates to DNA molecules which code for fusion proteins composed of enzymatically active parts and polypeptide parts which can be cleaved, in particular autocatalytically cleavable parts, the enzymatically active part preferably being a viral protease, preferably P2A of HRV2, and the cleavable polypeptide part being a viral protein (VP3) VP1 of HRV2, and expression systems which contain these DNA molecules and their use as test systems for inhibitors of viral proteases. |
