titleOfInvention Laundry composition and process for producing it
abstract A laundry pre-treatment composition is provided in nstick form which is suitable for pre-spotting onto nstained fabric before laundering. The composition ncomprises a water-soluble surfactant binder having a ndropping point in the range 30 to 100°C, and a bleach nactivator in the form of particles substantially all of nwhich have sizes of less than 50 microns. The binder can ncomprise an ethoxylated alcohol optionally with a fatty nalcohol and/or a polyethylene glycol. The activator is npreferably tetra acetyl ethylenediamine. Preferably the ncomposition contains a stabiliser which is a sequestrant, nespecially a phosphonic acid sequestrant. A process for nproducing the composition by mixing particulate compounds nwith molten binder is also described.
