abstract |
The invention relates to a method for closing and / or sealing openings, cavities or gaps that are formed when printing plates are applied to a forme cylinder by means of a pasty, light-curable sealing or sealing compound made from at least one photopolymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated low-molecular compound ( a), at least one polymeric binder (b) which is compatible with the photopolymerizable low molecular weight compounds of component (a), at least one photopolymerization initiator (c), and at least one finely divided oxidic filler (d) which, when mixed with the components (a ) to (c) results in transparent mixtures for long-wave UV light. After application, this sealing or sealing compound is cured by exposure and can be reworked mechanically. |
