abstract | Method for the analytical determination of the content of chlorinated, optionally also brominated or iodinated, hydrocarbons (CHC) in a liquid to be analyzed, with the following steps: supply of the liquid in an uninterrupted flow with mixing with an, in particular organic, extracting agent with metering, continuous and shock-free pumping action; subsequent phase separation, gasification, combustion and condensation of the organic fraction; quantitative continuous determination of the chlorine in stoichiometric relationship with the CHCs to be detected by introduction into a coulombmetric measuring cell, as well as the back calculation of the chlorine determined for a reference period to the chlorinated hydrocarbons accumulated in the corresponding reference period. |
