abstract |
Catalysts for removing nitrogen oxides from exhaust gases, in particular from flue gases, based on titanium dioxide with molybdenum trioxide, tungsten trioxide and vanadium pentoxide as further catalytically active components are known. However, they experience rapid deactivation upon contact with arsenic compounds. The new manufacturing process should now make catalysts resistant to arsenic poisoning accessible. An additional impregnation of catalysts based on titanium oxide according to the prior art with a dissolved molybdenum and / or tungsten compound and optionally vanadium compound gives catalysts with an excellent resistance to arsenic poisoning.
