titleOfInvention | Preparation of novel dental composites incorporating fluorosilicate glass fillers |
abstract | New hybrid composites that can be polymerized by a chemical and visible light process, the formula of which includes vitreous inorganic filling materials and a resin composed of a binder and a diluent. The filling material is mainly composed of a vitreous material based on aluminous fluorosilicate which can be washed out by ions which gives hardness and solidity, a natural color and a translucent appearance to allow approximation with the natural color of the teeth, which produces a cariostatic effect thanks to the release of fluorine ions and, possibly, confers an increased cohesion to enamel and cements. |
