abstract A compound which is a 6-substituted alkoxy-2-oxo-1,2-di- hydroquinoxaline derivative of formula (I):n wherein:n Z is N and --- is a double bond or Z is NH and --- is a single bond, R 1 is hydrogen, C 1-20 alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, A is lower alkylene, and R is carboxyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl,n or 1-cycloalkyl-tetrazole-5-yl, wherein R 2 is lower alkyl, hydroxy-lower alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl-lower alkyl and R 3 is lower alkyl or cycloalkyl, or R 2 and R 3 , together with I the nitrogen to which they are attached, formn wherein Rs and R 6 are hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, nor a pharmacologically acceptable non-toxic salt thereof.
