A curing agent (A) containing active CH groups is characterised in that it contains at least two groups of the formula (I)
or structural units of the formula (I') or (I")
in which A is
X and Y are identical or different and are
CO2R<1>, CN, NO2, CONH2, CONR<1>H or CONR<1>R<1>, where the radicals R<1> may be identical or different and are hydrocarbon radicals, preferably alkyl radicals having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, which may also be interrupted by oxygen or an N-alkyl radical, with the proviso that only one of the two radicals X and Y may be an NO2 group; A' is
X' and Y' are identical or different and are
Curable mixtures of (A) and a Michael acceptor (B) and optionally diluents and conventional additives cure rapidly even at low temperatures and are particularly suitable for surface-coating compositions. |
