abstract Aqueous solutions of enzymes are stabilized with nproteolytic inhibitors. For example, phosphoenol pyruvate ncarboxylase is stabilized with phenyl methyl sulfonyl nchloride, α-antitrypsin inhibitor, partially purified novomucoid, ovoinhibitor or soya bean trypsin factor; and a nmixture of phosphoglucomutase and N-acetyl nphosphoglucoseamine mutase is stabilised with soya bean ntrypsin inhibitor, antitrypsin inhibitor, aprotinin, p-­naminobenzamidine, leupeptin, benzamidine or α,α′-­nbipyridal.
