Fiber-reinforced heat-resistant polyolefin composition |
abstract |
A fiber-reinforced heat-resistant polyolefin composition which comprises 5 to 85 wt % of polyphenylene sulfide (A), 15 to 95 wt % of modified polyolefin (B) having a melting point of 200°C or above and being partly or wholly graft-modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative within a range of from 0.01 to 10 wt %, and 10 to 60 parts by weight of reinforcing fibers (C) per 100 parts by weight in total of (A) and (B) and, if necessary, 5 to 30 parts by weight of oxazoline-modified polystyrene (D) per 100 parts by weight in total of (A) and (B). This composition is excellent in resistances to heat, water, humidity and solder and has excellent mechanical strengths. |
