abstract |
The object was to provide a process for the preparation of polymers based on butadiene, isoprene and styrene in which the polymer obtained contains more than 70% of 1,2- and 3,4-isoprene units and more than 60% of 1,2-butadiene units. n<??>This object has been achieved by employing certain ethylene glycol dialkyl ethers as cocatalyst in the polymerisation. n<??>The polymers prepared by this process are suitable for the production of tyre treads and damping elements. |
