abstract |
Inorganic ultra- and microfiltration membrane modified by the adsorption into one of the membrane surfaces of at least one hydrophilic polymer or copolymer, such as polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinylimidazole. Said inorganic membrane may be provided with a macroporous base covered with a microporous layer of a metallic oxide such as zircon or aluminium. Said membranes (3) may be applied in the ultrafiltration device (1) to achieve separation of proteins such as lactoserum proteins, bovine seralbumin or lysozyme. |
