abstract New 1-nitro-2,2-diaminoethylene derivatives of the formula I. wherein X chlorine, fluorine, halogen-substituted or unsubstituted C₁-C₅-alkyl, halogen-substituted or unsubstituted C₁-C₅ alkoxy, halogen-substituted or unsubstituted C₁-C₅ alkylthio, halogen-substituted or unsubstituted alkylsulphinyl, halogen-substituted or unsubstituted alkylsulphonyl, also nitro, cyano, thiocyanato, C₃-C₅-haloalkenyl, C₃-C₅-haloalkynyl, hydroxy, C₁-C₅-alkoxycarbonyl, amino, di-C₁-C₄-alkylamino, C₁-C₅-alkylcarbonyl, C₁-C₅-alkylcarbonylamino or C₁-C₅-alkylcarbonyloxy, n the numbers 0-4, R₁ is hydrogen, C₁-C₅-alkyl, C₃-C₇-cycloalkyl, R₂ is hydrogen, C₁-C₅-alkyl, C₃-C₇-cycloalkyl, R₃ is hydrogen, C₁-C₅-alkyl, C₃-C₇-cycloalkyl, benzyl or pyridinylmethyl, or R₂ and R₃ together with the nitrogen atom connecting them pyrrolidinyl or piperazinyl mean, wherein no more than one of the radicals R₁, R₂ or R₃ is hydrogen, including cis and trans isomers and salts, processes for the preparation of these compounds and compositions containing them and their use in pest control, in particular for combating insects.
