| abstract | With this group control, better allocation decisions can be made for immediate assignments of floor calls to cabins and future overloads can be recorded more precisely, so that incorrect assignments are avoided and the average waiting times of all passengers are reduced. In order to determine the cheapest car, a computer provided for each elevator calculates from the distance between a floor and the car position indicated by a selector (R3), the intermediate stops to be expected within this distance and the car load, a sum proportional to the time lost by waiting passengers. Calls for target floors can be entered by means of call registration devices in the form of 10-keyboards arranged on the floors. After the calls have been stored, the load values contained in a load table (13) are changed in such a way that they are increased in proportion to the number of calls entered on the input storey and reduced in proportion to the number of calls for the target storey in the destination storeys. The load values determined in this way are taken into account in the calculation of the sum, a monitoring circuit (14) preventing the assignment of a call causing an overload. |
