abstract The present invention relates to a pentacoordined valence IV tin mono-chelate, its process for the preparation by reaction of a tin oxide, a β-dicarbonyl compound and an organic or mineral acid with elimination of the water formed. The mono-chelate or the reaction mixture containing it can be used as crosslinking catalyst for an organopolysiloxane composition hardening by polycondensation reactions and comprising an α-ω-dihydroxypolydiorganopolysiloxane oil, a crosslinking agent, and optionally mineral fillers and an 'adhesion.
