abstract | The invention relates to new cytostatically active anthracycline derivatives and conjugates of the following general formula I, which may be present as a salt of an inorganic or organic acid in which the radicals have the following meaning: A is an anthracyclinone of the general formula II or III, M is a structure of the general formula IV or V, and a and b are identical or different types of substituted or unsubstituted alkyl radicals of an aliphatic or benzyl aromatic nature or a and b form, together with the N atom, an optionally substituted heterocyclic ring, where in formulas II and III R¹ is hydrogen or a hydroxy group, R² is hydrogen or a hydroxy or a methoxy group, R³ is hydrogen or a hydroxy group, R⁴ is hydrogen or a hydroxy group, R⁵ CH₂CH₃, COCH₃ or a structure of the formula COCH₂OCOR, where R together with the carbonyl group represents the acyl function of a monobasic or an α, ω-dibasic aliphatic carboxylic acid or an amino acid, X is hydrogen, a hydroxy or a methoxycarbonyl group or a radical of the formula VI and Y is a radical of the formula VI, wherein in the formulas IV and V the radical Z is hydrogen or a methyl, hydroxyl, methoxy, acetoxy, nitro or Cyano group or a chlorine or bromine atom and where in formula V the residue P is a protein or peptide residue, an immunoglobulin or immunoglobulin residue, a monoclonal antibody or a Fab, Fab'- or F (ab ') ₂ Fragment or a hormone, lectin or growth factor residue, where P may optionally carry further anthracycline derivatives of the claimed coupled type, as well as processes for their preparation and their use in medicaments. |
