A powder composition for blending into detergent powder compositions comprises agglomerates of sodium perborate hydrate (usually tetrahydrate) fines together with one or more other ingredients of detergent powders, for example builders, water-softeners, bulking agents, sodium silicate, surfactants and chelaing agents. Methods for producing agglomerates including a falling curtain technique and an extrusion technique are provided and detergent powder compositions, including powder dishwashing compositions, comprising the agglomerates are also provided. |
