abstract Device for injecting liquid without a needle, comprising an elongated body in two separable parts placed end to end, of which the first known as medical, comprises at least one housing receiving a sealed cartridge containing the liquid to be injected and having a movable bottom whose displacement sends the liquid from the cartridge to at least one variable volume metering chamber, formed in said first part and communicating with a nozzle provided with an injector capable of forming a narrow jet of liquid following a brutal delivery of the liquid outside the metering chamber and of which the second part, called the motor, comprises a mobile assembly with reciprocating movement and pneumatically controlled.n n n According to the invention, the mobile assembly comprises a working piston (52 - 233 - 420) and a control and propulsion spring (62 - 241 - 444), acting on this piston while being progressively compressed under the effect of displacement of a thrust piece (52 - 276 - 445), caused by a pressure of compressed air in a sealed chamber (51 - 287) provided in the body, the displacement of the thrust piece occurring until the moment when the spring is suddenly released with release of the compressed air pressure, ensuring the rapid movement of the piston and the expulsion of the liquid out of the metering chamber (38 - 243 - 430), before returning to the initial position of the push piece.
