titleOfInvention Improvements of the processability of an antistatic blend of ppe and polystyrene through the addition of a styrene acrylic acid copolymer
abstract Antistatic thermoplastic molding compositions ncomprising (1) polyphenylene ether resin with or without a nstyrene resin, preferably with a high impact polystyrene nresin, (2) an alkenyl aromatic resin copolymerized with an nolefin acid and (3) one or more antistatic additives are ndescribed. The compositions are more stable against losses nof the antistatic additive due to migration, volatilization, nwashing out and the like, due to the attraction of the antiĀnstatic agent to the olefin acid portion of component (2).
