abstract The invention concerns a novel process for the preparation of npoly(N-acylethyleneimine) grafted polysiloxanes comprising sulfo-­nesterifying all of part of alcoholic hydroxyl groups of a hydroxy ncontaining polysiloxane and conducting, in said sulfo-­nesterification reaction mixture, ring-opening polymerization of n2-oxazoline compound. The present process can afford the ndesired poly(N-acylethyleneimine) grafted polysiloxane in a nhigher reaction yield.
