abstract One method of isolating tissue assisting substances from a certain amount of human or animal blood is to collect human or animal blood from a single human or animal individual in a first container forming part of a a multi-container system comprising at least first and second containers connected to each other, subjecting the multi-container system containing said blood to centrifugation so as to separate the blood into various fractions of which a fraction is a plasma fraction, transferring at least part of the plasma fraction in the second container of the multi-container system, subjecting the plasma fraction contained in the second container to a low temperature so as to obtain a precipitate comprising substances helping to reconstitute the tissues , concentrating said precipitate in the second container so as to obtain a first fraction comprising a large part of the non-prec material ipity and a second fraction comprising at least the major part of the precipitate and a small part of the non-precipitated material, and separating said second fraction comprising the substances for promoting the reconstitution of the tissues of the first fraction inside the second container, and optionally heating said second fraction in one of the containers of the multi-container system so as to dissolve the isolated precipitated substances helping in the reconstitution of the tissues. In addition, fractions comprising substances of this type derived from blood cells can be isolated inside the multi-container system and optionally combined with the second fraction comprising substances helping to reconstitute tissues derived from blood plasma. At least a portion of the fractions thus obtained can be stored to be applied to a tissue of the human or animal individual from which the blood used in said process was collected.
