titleOfInvention A method for anaerobic fermentation of organic substances, especially for the production of "biogas"
abstract In a method for making biogas from liquid manure or the like, in which fatty acids or compounds or derivatives thereof are used as accelerator for the process, the new feature is that an additive for the process liquid is used consisting of bentonite or the like having previously been used for purifying edible oils or fats, for which reason they contain fatty acids and the like in an adsorbed condition. n The new method makes it possible to avoid the risk of an excessive concentration of fatty acids, at the same time as the used bentonite, which up to the present has been difficult to dispose of, may be used for a useful purpose.
