A refractory composition comprising; (i) 100 parts by weight of hydraulic cement; (ii) 3 to 50 parts by weight of re-emulsification type powder resin; (iii) 50 to 600 parts by weight of a mixture composed of 15 to 85 wt % of aluminum hydroxide powder and 85 to 15 wt % of a carbonate decomposable at a temperature of 300 to 1,000°C; and (iv) 20 to 300 parts by weight of lightweight aggregate wherein open cells account for 50 % or more of the whole cells. |
