titleOfInvention Radiography apparatus
abstract The invention relates to an X-ray device with an essentially monochromatic radiation source that radiates through an examination area at different positions with a primary beam with a small cross-section, a first spatially resolving detector arrangement that measures the radiation elastically scattered in the primary beam beyond the examination area, and with means for reconstructing an image of the irradiated cross section. An assignment of an X-ray quantum is achieved in that the first detector arrangement is designed such that it essentially measures the energy loss of the X-ray quanta caused by Compton scattering, that a second spatially resolving detector arrangement is provided, that a coincidence device detects the coincidence of the signals of the two detector arrangements and that the reconstruction means are designed such that, in the event of a coincidence of the detector output signals, the path of the X-ray quantum causing these signals and from this, and from the energy loss measured in the first detector arrangement, the position of the scattering point on the primary beam is determined.
