titleOfInvention A frozen foodstuffs thawing detector device
abstract A foodstuffs thawing detector device (1) ncomprised of a water-filled container (2) in which dentection or marker means (5, 8 or 10) is maintained in na stable position by the freezing of the water in the nsaid container (2), where the said detection means will nreach a position other than the said stable position nwhen the water in the container melts. A preferred emnbodiment consists in a container (2) having an intenrior cavity defined by frusto-pyramidal formations (3) noriented in opposed directions and joined at their smanller bases in line with a central transverse plane n(4); preferably, the said formations shall have a squanre base, and even a truncated arrangement (6) or the nlike, and detection means comprised of a ball member n(5 or 8) having a high specific weight, maintained on nthe said central transverse plane (4) by the freezing nof the water. In an alternative embodiment, the containner is a simple pan (9) for the water (10), and the ndetection means is comprised of an amount of a water-nsoluble colouring (11) which will be poured into the npan once the water contained therein has frozen.
