titleOfInvention Blood preparations for parenteral administration
abstract Blood products which can be administered parenterally and which are essentially free of immunomodulating components are described, and methods for their production. The absence of immunomodulating components is expressed by the absence or absence of a low modulation of Fc receptors in the membrane of leukocytes.n n n After interaction with a blood product preparation, the expression of the receptors for the Fc piece of immunoglobulin G in the membrane of monocytes should not be reduced or at most reduced by 30%. Blood products that can be administered parenterally are available - by molecular sieving of blood products, etc. gel permeation chromatography (gel filtration) or - by treating the blood products with a molecular sieve-like carrier material on which immunomodulatory components are selectively adsorbed, or - by filtering the blood products through filters with a pore diameter of 10 nm or less.
