abstract |
The present invention relates to a peptide which essentially has the amino acid sequence of the pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor (PSTI). The invention relates to variants of this peptide in which one or more of the amino acids of the original sequence are replaced by other amino acids. These peptides are advantageously modified in view of the specificity of their inhibitory activity. A method for producing the peptides and their pharmaceutical use is also described. |
