abstract A sheet for receiving a heat-transferred image and to be used in combination with a heat transfer sheet having a dye layer. This sheet comprises a base sheet (2) having on at least one side thereof a receiving layer (3) for receiving a dye travelling from the heat transfer sheet upon heat printing. This sheet is characterized in that the receiving layer (3) comprises a specific modified polyester resin, i.e., a phenyl group-modified polyester resin and/or a long-chain methylene group-modified polyester resin. The receiving layer (3) constituted by this resin enables improvement in dye adhesion to a printed image and light fastness (weatherabiiity) of a formed image.
