abstract | A process for processing a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having provided thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver bromoiodide of an iodide content of 0.5 mol % or more in a development time of not longer than 180 seconds. The process is an active one which can provide a maximum magenta density M 2.0 when applied to photo sensitive material B containing silver bromoiodide of an iodide content of 0.5 mol % or more and a magenta coupler which, when exposed under a specific condition and color-developed at 38°C for 3 minutes and 15 seconds using a specific developer, gives a maximum magenta density M<2.0, and having been exposed under the same condition as the one described above, for a period of not longer than 2.5 minutes. This process makes it possible to obtain images with a good quality, etc. |
