titleOfInvention | Weft-inserting device for a needle loom |
abstract | The gripper rapier (1) of a rapier weaving machine with a fixed thread supply, with a clamping tongue (4) in the rapier housing (2) and with an additional clamping element (7) on a broad side of the clamping tongue (4) is designed such that the additional clamping element in the area of its clamping zone for the Weft thread partially rests on the underside (22) of the hook housing. It is formed in the inlet and clamping area of the thread (9) as a slender, flat leaf spring following the curvature of the known clamping tongue (4) and fastened on one side by means of the screw connection (8) to the clamping tongue (4) while it is under Self-tensioning at the other end presses against the clamping surface (22) of the gripper housing in the middle area. If the clamping tongue (4) is moved away from the gripper housing by means of the tab (42) in the front part, the additional clamping element (7) simultaneously lifts off the additional clamping surface (22), as a result of which contaminants between the respective clamping surfaces on the clamping tongue (4), the additional clamping element (7) and the gripper housing (22) fall off or can be suctioned off. |
