titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of optically active carbacyclin intermediates |
abstract | There is a process for the preparation of optically active cis-bicyclo [3.3.0] octane-2-aldehydes of the formula I. wherein R₁ and R₂ together represent the 2-bonded radical -OXO with X as a straight-chain or branched-chain alkylene with 1-7 C atoms or R₁ and R₂ each have the radical OR with R as a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl with 1-7 C atoms and R₃ is hydrogen, a saturated alkyl radical with 1-7 C atoms, an aralykyl radical with 7-10 C atoms, a tetrahydropyranyl radical, a trialkylsilyl radical with 1-6 C atoms in alkyl, where alkyl can also be substituted with phenyl, a dialkylphenylsilyl radical or alkyldiphenylsilyl radical with 1-6 C atoms in alkyl, which is characterized in that the diastereomeric amides of the formula II wherein R₁, R₂, and R₃ have the meanings given above, separates and reduces the enantiomerically pure amide of the formula II. |
