abstract A pesticidal composition comprising: about 1.0% nto 65.0%, by weight, of a pesticide, the technical grade of nsaid pesticide, having an oral and/or dermal LD50, as nmeasured on rats or rabbits, or less than 50 mg/kg; about n5.0% to 60.0%, by weight, of a polyvinylic dispersion resin nhaving a weight average molecular weight of about 200,000 to n400,000; about 0.2% to 2.0%, by weight, of a heat stabilizing nagent or mixture of heat stabilizing agents for the resin; nabout 0.0% to 1.0%, by weight, of a lubricant; about 0.0% to n50% by weight of a secondary plasticizing agent; about 0.0% nto 80.0%, by weight, of a mineral additive; and about 2.0% nto 30.0%, by weight, of precipitated silica, a sorptive ncarrier; wherein said pesticidal composition is a solid and nhas a reduced mammalian toxicity.
