DNA sequence comprising an activated oncogene, said oncogene encoding a polypeptide capable of transforming NIH3T3 cells and of inducing a tumor when injected into nude mice, said polypeptide having a protein kinase activity specific for tyrosine. The invention also relates to a polypeptide molecule encoded by an activated oncogene, said molecule having the properties of transforming NIH3T3 cells, of inducing a tumor when injected into naked mice and of acting as a specific protein kinase with tyrosine. Finally, this invention describes a method of treating a tumor induced by an activated ros1 oncogene. |
