abstract New 4-aminotetrahydrobenz ADc,d BD indoles and tetrahydroazepino AD3,4,5-c,d BD indoles of general formula (I) and their salts, in which formula A-B represent the residues (II), when R2 and R3 do not represent hydrogen, or (III), R representing hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl; R1 is fluorine, chlorine or bromine, R2 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, iodine, hydroxy, carbamoyl, methylthio, methyl, hydroxymethyl, N-methylthiocarbamoyl, amino, nitro, methylsulfonamido or (C1-C4)-acylamido; R3 is hydrogen, hydroxy or benzyloxy and R4 is hydrogen or (C1-C4)-alkyloxycarbonyl. Also described are their method of manufacture and their use as medicaments.
