abstract |
Etiocholandione is administered to mammals for the treatment of prophylaxis of diabetes, obesity, hpbercor- ticoidism and bone marrow suppressive disorders. Following administration the dione is converted to al- phaetiocholanolone which is pharmaceutically active. The use of etiocholandione as a pharmaceutical and compositions containing it are described. |
