abstract The invention relates to alkoxysilane-terminated, moisture-curing polyurethanes which, by reacting OH-terminated diols and / or triols with diisocyanates to give NCO-terminated polyurethanes with an NCO functionality of at least 2 and reacting some of the NCO groups with aliphatic alcohols to give a polyurethane with an NCO functionality of at least 1 and less than 2 or by reacting the OH-terminated linear diols or triols with a mixture of mono- and diisocyanates to give NCO-terminated polyurethanes with an NCO functionality of at least 1 and less than 2, followed by a reaction of essentially all of the free NCO functions of the polyurethanes obtained with aminoalkyl, mercaptoalkyl or epoxyalkyl alkoxysilanes. The polyurethanes obtained in this way are particularly suitable as the basis for moisture-curing one-component sealants and adhesives.
