abstract | A device is used to move a carriage in one direction at substantially the same speed and to return it at a non-uniform speed for the intermittent preference of a film web fed at a constant speed relative to a welding device fixed to the frame. The device has a lever which can be pivoted back and forth by a drive and which, via a first link guide running in the longitudinal direction thereof and a sliding block or a roller, gives the drive movement to the slide which is movable in guides in a plane parallel to the pivoting plane of the lever. The holder of the sliding block or the bearing of the roller are slidably guided on a line which is the base of an isosceles triangle, the legs of which are defined by the lever pivoted into its end positions. In order to give this device a more compact and therefore space-saving design, the drive of the lever (22) consists of a crank rotating in a plane parallel to the pivoting plane of the lever (22) with a driven crankshaft journal (31), the crankpin of which is a sliding block or a roller carries, which runs in a second link guide of the lever (22), which is located on the side opposite the first link guide (21) (Fig. 5). |
