titleOfInvention | Quinoline derivatives as herbicide antagonists for cultivated plants |
abstract | The use of quinoline derivatives of the formula wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 2 are independently hydrogen. Halogen. Nitro. Cyano, C i -C 3 alkyl or C 1 -C 3 alkoxy. R 4 , R 5 and R 6 are independently hydrogen. Halogen or C 1 -C 3 alkyl. A one of the groups -CH 2 -. -CH 2 CH 2 - or -CH (CH 3 ) - and Z a) cyano or amidoxime, which can be acylated at the oxygen atom, or b) a carboxyl group or a salt thereof. a mercaptocarbonyl group or a salt thereof, a carboxylic acid ester group, a carboxylic acid thiolester group. an unsubstituted or substituted carboxamide group. a cyclized. unsubstituted or substituted derivative of a carboxamide group or a carboxylic acid hydrazide group. or A and Z together represent an unsubstituted or substituted tetrahydrofuran-2-one ring. including their acid addition salts and metal complexes. for protecting crops against the damaging effects of herbicidally active 2- [4- (5-chloro-3-fluoropyridin-2-yloxy) phenoxy] propionic acid derivatives.n n n The aforementioned herbicidal 2- [4- (5-chloro-3-fluoropyridin-2-yloxy) phenoxy] propionic acid derivatives correspond to the formula where G is oxygen or sulfur. Q is a C 1 -C 3 alkylene chain which is unsubstituted or mono- or disubstituted by methyl or phenyl, and Y is a group -Si (OR 17 ) 2 R 18 , -Si (R 18 ) 3 , -PO (OR 19 ) -OR 20th -PO (OR 19 ) -R 20 or -O-PO (OR 19 ) 2 , where R 17 and R 18 independently of one another for C 1 -C 6 -alkyl and R 19 and R 20 independently of one another for hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 alkyl. C 3 -C 4 alkenyl, C 3 -C 4 alkynyl. C 2 -C 4 haloalkyl, C 1 -C 4 alkoxy- (C 2 -C 4 ) alkyl. Ci-C 4 cyanoalkyl or an unsubstituted or by halogen, C i -C 4 alkyl, C 1 -C 4 alkoxy. Ci-C 4 haloalkyl, C 1 -C 4 haloalkoxy, nitro or cyano mono- to disubstituted phenyl, phenyl (C 1 -C 4 ) alkyl or naphthyl radical. |
