abstract A water decomposable paper (l) impregnated with an norganic solvent is used to wipe clean a toilet seat and nat the same time is effective to disinfect and eliminate ngerms from the seat surface. Water or another organic nor inorganic solvent may be added to the organic solvent. nAlso, a bactericide may be added for disinfecting purposes. nThe paper may be flushed down the toilet after it has been nused for wiping. n A sprayer comprising a spray vessel (l2) containing norganic solvent (l3) may be used to spray the latter directly nonto the toilet seat prior to wiping or onto the wiping npaper as required.
