A triazole derivative useful as a plant growth regulator has the formula (I):n wherein R¹ is an alkyl group containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms or a group -(CH₂)n-R⁴ where n is from 0 to 2 and R⁴ is optionally substituted cyclopropyl, cyclobutyl, cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl; R² is hydrogen or an alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R³ is a tertiary butyl group optionally substituted by one or more halogen atoms. |
