The invention relates to 2-acyloxypropylamine derivatives of the general formula I. in which R¹ is a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group with up to 20 carbon atoms, R² denotes a straight-chain or branched alkyl group with up to 4 carbon atoms, R³ and R⁴ which may be the same or different, form hydrogen or an optionally phenyl-substituted straight-chain or branched alkyl group having up to 14 carbon atoms or together form an unsubstituted or C₁ to C₄ alkyl-substituted piperadine or piperazine ring and X is oxygen or sulfur, their pharmacologically acceptable salts, and an analogy process for their production.n n n The new compounds represent the first group of substances that specifically inhibit protein kinase C (PKC). The compounds are suitable for the treatment of heart and vascular diseases, such as thrombosis, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, rheumatic inflammatory processes, allergies, cancer and degenerative damage to the central nervous system. |
