abstract The invention relates to a method of electrogalvanizing a steel strip (2) which acts as a cathode in front of a series of anodes (5, 6), while circulating between the cathode and the anodes (5ʹ, 6ʹ) a flow of electrolyte charged with zinc. Each anode (5ʹ, 6ʹ) is supplied independently of the others and the amount of current passing through each anode (5ʹ, 6ʹ) is adjusted to obtain, from each of them, the same density of the electrolysis current at all points, in order to obtain on the strip (2) a deposit of zinc with a compact mono-oriented crystal structure.n n n The invention also relates to an installation for implementing this method
