New compositions formed by multifunctional metallo-organic complexes of amino-zirconium aluminum comprising a half of complex aluminum chemically united, a half of tetravalent zirconium, and a multifunctional amino acid, the acid being chemically linked to the centers of aluminum and zirconium. Such compositions are useful for stimulating the adhesion of adhesives, sealants and coatings to metals, rubber, glass, plastic, wood and other coatings, thereby improving them. resistance and extend its useful life when these products are exposed to aggressive environments. Also described is a specific process for preparing these compositions in organic media with desirable stability of the metal centers with respect to polymerization and relative hydrolysis. |
