abstract | This device is characterized in that it comprises excitation means (5,6,7) for putting a sample (1) of elongated shape and of ferromagnetic material in the regime of longitudinal oscillations, cutting means (30) supply means (21) of one (5) of the excitation means, of detection and counting means (28,29,30,32,33) of the damped oscillations, after cutting off said excitation, including the amplitude is greater than or equal to the initial amplitude of the oscillations, multiplied by a coefficient to allow the determination of said internal coefficient of friction. The excitation means consist of three cylindrical windings (5,6,7) coaxial and arranged around the sample (1). |
