titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of alpha-halogenated organic esters of carbonic acid |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of alpha-halogenated carbonates of formula characterized in that a particular aldehyde of formula R¹CHO is reacted in which R¹ represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted radical, Cip to C en aliphatic, C₃ to C₂₀ cycloaliphatic, C₇ to C₁₅ araliphatic or C₆ to C₁₄ aromatic, with a particular haloformate of formula R² in which n is equal to 1 or 2 and R² represents a substituted or unsubstituted radical, C₂ to C en aliphatic and unsaturated, C₆ to C₁₄ aromatic, C₁ to C₂₀ aliphatic and monohalogenated in position 1, a succinimido group or a trihalo group -2,2,2 ethyl, when X represents a fluorine, chlorine, bromine or iodine atom, or R² represents an aliphatic radical in C₁ to C₂₀, substituted or not substituted when X represents a fluorine atom, in the presence of a catalyst chosen from aromatic tertiary amines, heteroaromatic amines, pyridines, pentaalkylsubstituted guanidines, tertiary phosphines, ammonium or quaternary phosphonium halides, alkali halides associated with a cation complexing agent and tetrasubstituted ureas, at a temperature between 50 ° and 100 ° C.n n n This new process makes it possible to simply obtain numerous alpha-halogenated carbonates very useful in the pharmaceutical and phytosanitary fields. |
