abstract A centralized switching block includes: . at least one removable power switching module (7) comprising a power switch (26) secured to a heat transfer member (23) and an electronic component for receiving (27) optical signals; and . at least one radiator (8) comprising at least one surface for cooperating closely with the heat transfer member (23) of the module (7) and diffusing the heat produced by the power switch (26) of said module.n n n Advantageously, the radiator (8) serves as a support for the module (7) as well as for an organ for transmitting optical signals (32), which is situated exactly opposite the component for receiving optical signals (27 ) when the module (7) is correctly secured to the radiator. In this way, the optical connection between the electronic receiving component (27) and the optical signal transmission member (32) is only made if the thermal connection between the thermal transfer member (23) and the radiator (8) is provided.
