A ready-for-filling conditioned foodstuff wrapper made from a polyamide or a mixture of this polyamide with up to 50% by weight of a ionomer resin and/or a modified ethylene vinyl acetate co-polymer which, in relation to the polyamide content, consists of at least 5% by weight of water and no refined lubricant and no moisture-containing agent. Process for the manufacture and use of these wrappers for the production in particular of hot-packed foodstuffs, or foodstuffs subjected to heat treatment after packing, in particular meat and sausage products. |
