titleOfInvention | Fire-resistant material, non-combustible material for interior material, and process for their production |
abstract | A fire-resistant material which is produced by mixing, in a predetermined ratio, component A prepared by diluting a liquid mixture of calcium chloride and boric acid with water, component B comprising silicone resin, sodium silicate, and vinyl nitrate resin, and component C comprising ammonium primary phosphate and silica gel. A non-combustible material for interior materials of a building, which is produced by mixing the above-described fire-resistant material with a mixture of powder D prepared by grinding and drying a mixture of an aqueous boric acid solution and a viscous aqueous solution of paper powder, dust of soil and stone prepared by crushing and heating ocher, sand, waste coal, and diatomaceous earth powder. The non-combustible material can be sprayed over or applied on combustible materials such as wood, textiles, paper, plastics, etc. to make them non-combustible and, upon starting of a fire, it foams to form an insulating layer which exhibits a sufficient heat-insulating effect and neutralizes and controls a poisonous gas. |
