abstract |
The invention pertains to a process for the manufacture of stable dispersions of hydrophobic reagents in water or aqueous systems wherein ionomeric polymers are used as support as well as the use of such dispersions for the manufacture of test strips. The dispersions are prepared by dissolving the ionomeric polymer together with the hydrophobic reagent in a suitable organic solvent, adding water to the solution and thereafter removing the organic solvent. The dispersions obtained have an extremely good stability and are very suitable for the manufacture of test strips. |
